Here is a little about me...

I was born and raised in the Phoenix, AZ area and I still live here with my husband, Eric and our three amazing kids.  I say amazing, because they are.  You see, my kids have special needs.  All three of them have autism.  My youngest also has a mild Cerebral Palsy and a rare chromosomal disorder.  My life revolves around therapies, school, home, but most importantly, my family.

I joined Scentsy Thanksgiving weekend, 2012.  So, not that long ago - I am still a newbie, but I am loving it.  I love that I am able to have fragrance in my house again!  With my kids, they also have allergies and my middle child has asthma.  They would react to candles, so I was very cautious of bringing Scentsy into my home.  It was amazing!  I got my starter kit and let it sit there a few days wondering if I should break it out and try it or not.  Yes, you got that right - I signed up to sell Scentsy before I had even seen a warmer or smelled a Scentsy Bar!  My husband thought I was nuts, but he also believed in me.  I believed in me.

I did try it and I loved it!  I plugged in my warmer, opened the Welcome Home Scentsy Bar clamshell and broke off about 4 squares.  I had my Scentsy Verdigris Full-Size warmer next to the window so I could open the window and let the scent out the window if I had to.  The scent was so strong!  Then I had my sponsor over and she informed me I was only supposed to use 1 square, maybe 2 at most.

We have now been enjoying Scentsy in our home and I am enjoying having my own Scentsy business!  It has allowed me to do something fun, rewarding and mind-freeing, if that makes sense.  I worry about a lot, but when I am doing a party or meeting someone to talk to about Scentsy, I can concentrate on having fun while making money.  Can I really ask for a better job then that?
